Additionally, this is during a pandemic where these kids are definitely too young to be vaccinated and you don't necessarily want them right next to you. It's obnoxious and uncomfortable to have random kids lying on the floor in front of your feet or on the benches next to you. And this large group of adults was busy drinking beer, taking pictures, and not watching their kids. I'm the type who actually likes to hear the tour guide give info about the sites, so this was really annoying to me. The large group completely dominated the interior cabin - between them and the boat noise (we were at the back near the open doors as the group took up the whole front cabin), we couldn't hear any of the commentary over the cabin speakers. The top deck filled up quickly, so we sat downstairs in the boat with this large group and a couple of other passengers.

This is something that the business couldn't really control - about half of our boat consisted of a large group of 20 or so people (couples and their children). We were there on time and still left late.Ģ. It was annoying to be waiting around wondering what was going on, considering the ticket says to arrive 30 minutes early to allow for loading time. It would be nice if there were a staff member on-site to handle issues like that.
CLEW BAY FULL
Of course, this isn't a huge deal and we still sailed the full 90 minutes, but there were no staff in the office at the time so no one could communicate to us what was happening. The boat was late and as a result, we left about 15 minutes late. We took the afternoon sailing, which means the boat was coming back from the morning sailing, dropping off those passengers, and then immediately loading us on board for our departure time. However, there were two things that detracted from our experience.ġ. The weather was lousy the day of our cruise, but we still had a nice time! The hosts are friendly and the on boat cafe is a nice feature.
